Turbo-Seal

THE ORIGINAL POLYMER RUBBER GEL WATERPROOFING

Turbo-Seal is a trowel applied, recycled, single component, cold applied, <1% VOC, highly elastomeric modified polymer rubber gel with exceptional adhesive properties. Turbo-Seal is a component of the composite GEL-FLEX SYSTEM for both pre—applied and post-applied waterproofing systems for above and below grade construction. Its superior flexibility, adhesiveness and self-healing characteristics make Turbo-Seal the ideal choice for effective, permanent waterproofing. Turbo-Seal can be applied to green concrete, reducing overall project time and costs.

GEL-FLEX SYSTEM: combines a polymer rubber gel membrane with durable high density polyethylene sheet. The flexibility of the polymer rubber gel combined with the durability of the HDPE sheet creates a high performance, substrate responsive waterproofing system. The flexible polymer rubber gel component to the GEL-FLEX SYSTEM makes it ideal for construction where seismic events, foundation settlement or structural vibration/movement are a concern.

GF-450

GF-450 is a post applied composite waterproofing system applied directly to concrete substrates typically for foundation walls, split slab and plaza deck applications. This composite waterproofing system is comprised of two components applied and assembled in the field.

Application procedure:

  1. Trowel apply Turbo-Seal P polymer rubber gel onto concrete substrate.
  2. Adhere GFG20X sheet into Turbo-Seal P.
  3. Tape or heat weld the seams of the GFG20X sheet.

System Components:

Turbo-Seal

A trowel applied polymer rubber gel that exhibits excellent flexibility and adhesion.

GFG20X

A durable, chemical resistant 20 mil HDPE sheet backed with a non-woven geo-textile.

GF-PRE

GF-Pre is a pre-applied waterproofing system applied to the support of excavation. Concrete is cast directly against the installed membrane. GF-Pre is a composite system comprised of three components applied and assembled in the field.

Application procedure:

  1. Mechanically fasten GFG20X high density polyethylene sheet to support of excavation.
  2. Tape or heat weld the seams of the GFG20X sheet.
  3. Spray apply Hydrogel polymer rubber gel onto GFG20X sheet.
  4. Adhere and mechanically fasten GFG4 sheet against Hydrogel membrane.
  5. Cast concrete against installed GFG4 membrane.

System Components:

GFG20X

A durable, chemical resistant 20 mil HDPE sheet backed with a non-woven geo-textile.

GFG4

A light weight polyethylene sheet backed with a non-woven geo-textile.

HDPE Miracle Mesh

A lightweight HDPE mesh that gives Turbo-Seal structural support for pre-applied applications.

Turbo-Seal

A trowel applied polymer rubber gel that exhibits excellent flexibility and adhesion.

DUROFLEX

EXPOSED FLASHING AND REINFORCEMENT SYSTEM

Duroflex is a 60 mil uncured neoprene flashing providing added flashing/reinforcement and movement capability at cracks, construction joints, control joints at changes of plane, expansion joints, drains, and in exposed conditions such as flashing parapets, walls, and curbs.

Duroflex provides waterproof flexibility where minor movement, change in level direction, and dissimilar materials occur or is anticipated through a 6-24 inch wide membrane with thermoset properties that provide ease in forming around penetrations and corners as well as detailing expansion joints and drains.

Application Procedure

Exposed Flashing Applications:
  1. Bonding Adhesive.
  2. Duroflex reinforcement.
    • Splicing Cement between seams/laps.
    • Lap Sealant for exposed seams/laps.
Covered Flashing Applications:
  1. Bonding Adhesive.
  2. Duroflex reinforcement.
    • Splicing Cement between seams/laps.
  3. 80-90 mil Hydrogel (or Turboseal).
  4. GFG20X HDPE reinforcement sheet.
Membrane Reinforcement Applications:
  1. 80-90 mil Hydrogel (or Turboseal).
  2. Duroflex reinforcement.
    • Splicing Cement between seams/laps.
  3. 80-90 mil Hydrogel (or Turboseal).
  4. GFG20X HDPE reinforcement sheet.

System Components:

Duroflex

An uncured Neoprene detailing wrap or reinfocement sheet (6-24 inches wide, 100 feet long).

GFG20X

A durable, chemical resistant 20 mil HDPE sheet backed with a non-woven geo-textile.

Turbo-Seal

A trowel applied polymer rubber gel that exhibits excellent flexibility and adhesion.

Durotape

A highly adhesive rubber seaming and detailing tape.
